Chosen Solution This is a weird one! After replacing the SSD with an Aura Pro and getting it correctly recognized, the MBP works continuously but ONLY if left on sleep when not in use. If I shut down normally I can’t use the power button to startup again. For that reason I can only use this p/t. I need to open the Mac back up each time I want to use it , unplug the battery connector, unscrew & re-insert the SSD, put the battery connector back in, screw the back down again and THEN it’s ready to go again but only (as described above) for a single (extended) session....
Chosen Solution On my Acer aspire 5532 there is no power on indicator light and will not power up. I have checked the power unit and am getting 19v, the power conenctor in the unit is OK (has been replaced twice). Is there an internal fuse or other device that would prevent the unit from getting power? Thanks Joe, the only fuse I find on your motherboard is toward the CRT end....
Chosen Solution A capacitor on the mains power input board blew and I replaced it. Now the DVD player powers up, runs for five to ten minutes the shuts down. After letting it stand off for a while it can be started again then the cycle repeats. What component coul be causing this fault? Is there an auto power off setting? Make sure that is off.

Chosen Solution It normally happens while playing online games, it will have a notification pop up and say “WIFI connection lost” but by the time the notification pops up, I can rejoin a party and reload into a game. It will randomly lose connection and I already applied new thermal paste because I thought the problem was caused from overheating. Is it my WIFI antenna? Chosen Solution This embed seems invalid. Please check the URL. It keeps ejecting my disc one i put it in, like when i insert it, it keeps spitting it out. I tried cleaning the rollers but still the same. Looks like a gearing problem. Check the top drive cover and see if the gearing moves normally. Also check the rollers to see if they are pushing down / locking in with disc....

Chosen Solution So my phone’s screen won’t turn on, however the phone is on as it makes sound when you plug it into charge and appears on iTunes. I’ve tried force restarting it and all the basic solutions. I then took it to Apple and had the screen replaced and it fixed it for a week but then the issue reappeared. Next Apple told me to try resetting the phone and setting it up as a new iPhone, which again worked for a week then the same thing happened....

Chosen Solution I used Windows USB Troubleshooter and it says :" The USB Controller is in failed stat or is not currently installed! This is a common issue on the L505D that happens from a capacitor breaking off of the motherboard. The easiest way to fix it is to replace the motherboard. This video shows how to actually repair the motherboard via soldering, but I don’t recommend anyone without much soldering experience to follow this guide....

If so open, it up and take a quick look see if there is any damage of any kind, if you see none, you may be able to visit a kiosk of your cell phone provider, they will need to replace the SIM card, im with Virgin Mobile and I am charged; $5 per replacement, they will adv beforehand, if any fees....

I powered it off and left it to dry for a while, and when I turned it back on it restarted fine, I was even able to start a game. Chosen Solution Hi Everyone! I picked up a 2012 IMac A1418 EMC 2544. The LCD Panel works, but there is no backlight. I am able to use a flashlight and I can see everything and it functions perfectly. AHT said no issues. The computer also can connect to an external display and everything is perfect. My question is, what are the next steps in diagnosing the issue? From my research, I am pretty sure I will have to replace the logic board....

You are talking about the built in phone and contacts app right? If that is the case I would see if they are hiding somewhere on the phone. These are built in apps and to my knowledge, the only possible way you could get rid of the apps is to root the phone....

Chosen Solution About a month ago I had to replace a missing inductor (L9004) on my early 2011 MacBook pro. I just got them in the mail today and successfully soldered the inductor. The screen now turns on, however now I have no backlight on the LCD. I know the screen itself isn’t the issue and I’m unsure what to look for on the motherboard. For all I know I could’ve damaged something when I was using the heat gun....
