If the power jack broke half inside I would suggest getting a bic pen, putting glue in the hollow side (the bottom one with no ink) and inserting in so the jack gets inside of it. Leave it dry and after a while take it out slowly. I had the same issue on a MBP and it worked, hope it helps!...

They should have some paperwork on your device as well. The status lights functioned as they were supposed to, showing that the tv was turning off and turning on when pressing the power button. Now that I’ve removed the battery from the packaging, it still has a milder sweet smell to it. It seems to be mainly coming from a single corner of the battery. Is it still safe to use? I checked every cable and they are all connected. Please help Either something isn’t seated correctly or your new screen is faulty.
