Chosen Solution Hey there guys, I recently noticed my hinge was loose, so I opened up my macbook pro, and disconnected the LCD cable, but I was stupid enough to not unplug the battery cable, so the device turned on and the fans ramped up to full speed. After reassembly, the device wouldn’t turn on at all, no chime…. After resetting the SMC and PRAM I hear a chime, and the keyboard LEDS light up, but the screen stays black....

Chosen Solution I own a pair of JBL Tune 500bt headphones. But after using them for 5-6 months the left side stopped working. Sound only comes out from the right side only. What is the cause and the solution for this problem?? I have a pair of one-year-old JBL 500BTs which had this exact same problem. The contacts between the board and the speaker consists of a pair of springs and over time, one or both springs may lose that contact....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 5s is disabled and telling me to connect to itunes ut ive tried it over and over and it wont work do i tried erasing it through icloud but the phone has no wifi. what do i do?? To fix an iPhone 5 that is locked in that mode the easiest way to fix it would be to take it to your local apple store where they can use specialized software and bypass the iTunes lock and re-install the OS on your phone....

Chosen Solution I can’t find nvidia display adapter in device manager and i am not able to open nvidia control panel. When i try to reinstall Nvidia drivers, it says nvdia gpu not detected. Can anyone help? Hi, Did you check in Device manager > View > Show hidden devices or in Device manager > Other Devices (if listed) just in case it is listed there for some reason? Don’t know the laptop, but check in BIOS (press F2 when Acer logo shows on startup - I think) to see if there is an option to turn on/off the Nvidia graphics adapter....

Chosen Solution Yesterday, while i was using my phone normally, I noticed that the screen of my oneplus 6 is coming off slightly, from the bottom. Everything is fine. I didn’t drop the phone, and there are no scratches on the screen either. The screen works completely fine, and there are no touch response issues. I think its because of loosening of the adhesive overtime, holding the screen to the frame....

Chosen Solution Kodak 3-in-1 printer will not print color out of black ink Depending on your printer model you may be able to over-ride the “out of ink message” and force it to print. This would depend on your printer mfr and model. You can try the trick of taking out the cartridge and shaking it around and putting it back in the printer (that occasionally will work for a couple pages) Make sure you have “calibration” turned off as this will use ink during it’s process....

Chosen Solution I was working on my iMac and all of a sudden the screen goes black and it never has powered on from then, I opened it up and had a look at the diagnostic LED’s and only led1 turns on when connected to power. When I press the power button I can hear the hdd blowing, while no other led it being lit up. If I hold the power button the hdd beeps very silent and stopt blowing....

Chosen Solution My screen cracked (as ususal..) and I bought a replacement screen. A really nice black lcd 6S display. But when I replaced the screen the phone would not boot at all. I thought the screen was damaged but I have tested 10 other screens and none of them works. The only screen that my phone boots with is the broken display. And it is quite weird becuase this broken lcd display is not the original, I replaced the original screen 1 year ago....

Chosen Solution The right side of paper loads properly but the left side does not laod properly so the paper wrinkles and jams. It seems like the side loading rollers are not working. Some WD40 on a kleenex and wiped on the roller bar just might solve your problem. I am having the same problem with the Epson Stylus R200. It was in storage for some time, do you think that WD40 might help mine too?...

Chosen Solution So my macbook shows no signs of powering on when i plug it in. I tested other components to make sure it is not them, and verified that the problem is with the logic board itself. The charger showed no signs of turning green or orange. When I touched my multimeter to this specific fuse numbered ‘470’, the charger turned green and then orange. However the macbook still does not power up....

Chosen Solution I believe my house was struck a few nights ago - zapped AC control board, TV, and a few power adapters. PC not responding at all (was plugged into surge protector for initial strike, and completely unplugged immediately after) I’ve tried replacing the PSU, but it didn’t help. I’ve read that the PSU fan should spin when turned on, but I’m not sure that’s completely accurate. Not sure what troubleshooting steps are next....

Chosen Solution Hi my LG TV suddenly died. When turned on the TV keeps switching between the two displays attached (one with pink fuzz and the other with a distorted LG logo). From what I’ve read it doesn’t sound like it’s the TCON board, I’ve checked everything over and all boards look clean, no blown caps, ribbon cables look fine, disconnected and reconnected everything and it all looks okay…any ideas? The TV only responds to the on/off button on the remote, even the off button needs to be held for some time until the TV actually turns off...

Chosen Solution how do I fix it by connecting terminals @guidin they usually turn on then shut down again when they go into protection mode. This can be caused by shortened out speakers as well as hundred other things. It’s time to take it apart and to have a good look at it. I would thing that with the age off it there may be a lot of degraded components etc....

I used my phone all week with no issues, but last night i let the phone run out of juice and now it wont turn on, it doesn’t even look like it is charging hi your phone doesn’t charge because the battery is to low to begin charging you need to charge the battery out of your phone to give her some power

The large round multi pin plug as to make good enough connection to supply power and often doesn’t with age. Wiggle it until it at least flashes the light r you give up. If it does the issue is that connector pair.

Chosen Solution So, somehow my 3DS got mixed in with my dirty clothes and I don’t really put my clothes in the washer one by one. I just sorta dump them all in. So, my DS went through a nearly 50min wash cycle. Is there any way I could salvage it? Skye Tor probably not but you can always try. Chosen Solution I seem to be having an almost identical problem except I’m using a 2011 27" iMac.What I find strange is that trying to boot from external drives with mac partitions result in the same behaviour: progress bar gets halfway before the screen goes grey.I have tried the single user mode approach and the FSCK fy command but that doesn’t seem to have sorted it either. It seems as though I may just have to open the iMac up and replace the drive…...

I changed the screen and the proximity sensor does not turn the screen blank when put to the ear. So I made sure it is seated properly in the plastic piece, I checked the connection of the cable, and even replaced the proximity sensor with camera flex cable....
