Chosen Solution my freezer works but my fridge does not. i disassembled the unit and had frost. the evap fan was spinning but there was no airflow. thinking it’s the defrost circuit i defrosted the whole unit. i reassembled the unit. in the freezer the fan spun and i had air flow. but no flow into the fridge below. i made sure the vent was open and unobstructed. still no airflow....
Chosen Solution Dear all, Samsung Galaxy S6 had been dropped in water - I did the usual clean and replace battery but still no power and no life from the usb connection. The board looks good, although I havn’t disassembled the daughter board as I’m expecting the device to at least vibrate once a good battery is connected to the main board. Any ideas/advice? I’ve got a daughter /dock connector board on order but I’m wondering how I can test/identify why no power is hitting this phone when all seems well?...
Chosen Solution I was watering different plants in my yard the other day and forgot that my big Jambox was on the other side of the tree and it got wet. Does anyone know if there is any chance that it can be fixed, as it won’t turn back on? @cmhenderson that will depend on what got damaged. Chosen Solution Hello, a similar situation to the one described here : Microphone could be damaged? but with the samsung note 9. A sim pick tool was introduced into the microphone hole by mistake. Consequences? On the mic? On the waterproofness? Is the physical arrangement the same as for s7 edge (in the example above) ? Thank you. As long as you didn’t go too far the mic should be fine, but the IP rating would technically probably drop....
Chosen Solution I only listen to the tv in mono with one headphone, not in stereo with both headphones. I already checked the electrical connection between both headphones. I changed also the battery, but still the same. Any idea what is wrong and how to fix it will be higly appreciated. Chosen Solution Hello, I just want to make sure I can actually fix this issue. Long story short I dropped some tools on the back of my S10+ which cracked the back glass and caused it to no longer wireless charge. I’m assuming that if I replace the back that it will fix this issue but if that is not correct, is there any way to fix this? Update (02/14/2022) I know that I need to replace the charging coil but I was wondering if that is included in the back replacement or not....

Chosen Solution Had this happen on a few iPhone 8 and 8 plus models. After replacing the lightning flex callers report it sounds like I’m in a fish bowl or really far away. I didn’t replace the mic/speaker mesh as it appeared to be in good shape and I was pretty careful to make sure the mic was in the right position. The mic works but everyone complains that they can either barely hear me or that I sound like crap....

All you could do is transplant a working 5k display from LG or other maker into the case. You can’t use a iMac 5k display as you will still need the driver logic and the interface logic. But two days ago the laptop suddenly shut it self down when I plugged in the charger. Today it just wont open, every-time i try, it gives 3 red lights blink on power button. According to Dell’s service manual, an error code of 3-Red, 1-Blue means that the CMOS battery failed....
Chosen Solution I have 32" UE32EH5000K and Im in a pickle. I can see the picure with torch against the screen so problem with backlight, OK. Ive checked power board and there is 240V going to LED strips (tested to ground) so next tested, with 30V battery, each of my 4 LED strips (10 LED each) and all fine. I`ve tryed disconecting the logic board but the back lights stay down....

Chosen Solution I’ve only had this camera for a week. At first I was not having any issues, but my pictures are coming out blurry after messing around with some settings and features. What am I doing wrong? The outer lens may be dirty. Detach the outer lens to lighty clean it with a microfiber cloth. Make sure to wipe the inside too! Check the auto focus settings. Make sure the auto focus settings is locked into place, and that you are not on manual focus....

I’ve fixed up a few N64’s before, so to cover common issues, I know my tv, cables, game, controller, and expansion pack are good because they work on my personal N64. I’ve also cleaned the whole board with 99% IPA, reflowed the AV port, and I’ve recapped the important video capacitors, but still no luck....
