Chosen Solution Every time I put a disc in to the drive it spins and then spits it out. I went to disc utilities and its not even listed, it shows the hard drive but not the optical drive. Under “about this computer” in the catagory of “Disc Burning” it says there is no disc burning drive. Yet under ATA it lists it as QSI-CD-ROM TCR-241. I know its old and I do have another computer but this computer still works and I was just wondering if I was missing something?...

I would say the motor is burned out from running, or a wire came loose, you could try taking it apart to check out the mechanism and make sure it looks decent and/or order a new motor.
Chosen Solution Most components are built to be used with a certain voltage and amperage. Applying too much voltage, 220v to components built for 110v will damage the electrical components. The wiring gets to hot and melts, causing fuses to blow and even tripping the breaker. If the electrical parts are rated for 110v and 220v is applied they probably will be damaged.
Chosen Solution the power head seems to move slightly where it attaches to the base (neck area) while operating mixing dough. Basically is loose where the swivel pin is. Make sure the lever on the right side of the machine is pulled all the way forward, locking it in place.
Chosen Solution I haven’t used this laptop in years because of this issue. It was dropped flat (not on a corner) from roughly 3 feet. Definitely something internal, because I’ve tried plugging it in via HDMI to a monitor and it detects that I’ve plugged it in but it couldn’t display anything to the monitor. What could be the issue? How could I fix it myself? EDIT: The laptop also will not turn on without the charger plugged in....
Chosen Solution After doing clean-up of spill, my macbook pro 13" late 2011 model is in this state: It will power on using these steps: 1) left unplugged for a few hours 2) hold down power button for 10 seconds 3) with power button still held down, attach mag cord power 4) wait another 10 seconds (power button still held down) release power button - it starts from there. it will gracefully shutdown then power-on with a single press of the power button as long it is not unplugged after a successful start (mag cord light does not turn on here)....

Chosen Solution A day, I was playing with my PS3, suddenly my cousin fell over it, and the HDMI Cable broken but the plug in side kept in PS3. When I removed it and changed the cable. My PS3 worked without any problems. When I bought a new CD, I inserted it. The PS3 didn’t read it, i changed the game but still the same. I thought that the problem from not cleaning it....
Chosen Solution My Fat PAL PS3 no longer plays CD’s. It plays DVD and Blu-Ray but no CD’s. i want to fix this without accidentally losing PS2 backwards compatibility. Is there anybody who is able to help me out? @jim_v sounds like a bad/dirty laser. Remember that there are different wavelength between the laser reading CD and DVD etc. Clean your laser assembly and re-evaluate. If that does not fix it, replace it....

Chosen Solution my screen is loose on one corner so I can see the glow on the inside. Nathaniel Mello looks like your screen is separating. You can try and see if you can reseat it. If you can’t you may have to replace it. Use something like this video to work on the display.

Chosen Solution My gallery says it is empty and any photos I take are not saved there. I can still see photos in Whatsapp messages so I think something is corrupt. Ihave not deleted the photos. If I try to connect my phone to a computer I get the message “Unfortunately the process android.process.media has stopped”. I have tried all the recommended fixes for this. So I can’t use a computer to view my files....
Chosen Solution The superdrive on my iMac refuses to read any discs that I put in. The drive accepts the disc, spins for a minute and then spits the disc back out. The disc won’t mount or show up on my desktop. I was wondering how I can get the disc to show up or if the superdrive is bad on the computer. Personally I would go with an external DVD dual layer drive that will go to your next machine....
Chosen Solution Does this problem require a motherboard replacement? Also my Lightning port is loose. have a: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) Sometimes the battery will swell in these causing the trackpad click to not work any longer. I’d suggest bringing it to any competent local shop (not Apple) for a quote.
