Normally the charging icon pop ups but it just remains black. Is it a battery or should i replace something else? Chosen Solution I have a PS3 Controller with a broken 3D Analog sticks and worn out Joystick and I have a old PS2 Controller thats completely broken except the sticks. Could I use the 3D Analog Sticks and Joysticks from the PS2 Controller on the PS3 Controller? NO… An adapter might help. They are all over ebay :)

Chosen Solution While replacing the trackpad ribbon I broke the ZIF connector on the trackpad control board. Is it possible to replace just the control board or do I have to replace the whole trackpad? Any ideas where I might buy the board? If you have the tools and the part to perform the job, it can be done, is more easy to find a donor computer that the single small part, if not: MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Early 2015) Trackpad

Chosen Solution The laptop was left untouched on a table no one uses for about 2 weeks (so no environmental issues, and it’s used lightly with a vinyl cut machine program). I went to turn it on, and the power button did not blink/turn on. I plugged the laptop into the charger, and the power button lit up immediately. However, the laptop does nothing else. There is no sound of it turning on, no blinking lights, no screen light whatsoever....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 7 that has a power button that is not working. The volume works fine. The phone is up to date and the power button is not loose or physically damaged. The phone has never been repaired. I tried restarting the phone by using assistive touch, but the phone goes into a boot loop until I plug in the charge cable. There is no warranty on it....

Chosen Solution My ps4 fell on my concrete floor. Tried to stop it from falling. Does not display signal to my tv. Turns on with blue light but does not go into safe mode. Is it motherboard issue or hard drive ? How to fix it? Could be anything, you won’t know until you opened and examined it. However it’s most likely to be the board, HDD failure usually still allow the console to boot into safe mode....

Chosen Solution my tv model aim cz1542 is with imagem inverted , what can i do to? Micael alfredo cossa post some pictures so we can see what you see. Inverted as in upside down is a mainboard issue. If the colors are inverted it could be something called polarized which is possibly a main board or a T-con board issue. Let us know if the colors on the on-screen menu is also distorted....

Chosen Solution I can’t find the power button on the tv to reset it You need to do a flashlight test, Turn it on and hold a flashlight up to the screen. If you can see an image then either the power supply board or the backlights are bad. If you see an image then disconnect the cable going from the power supply board to the main board, If the back lights come on then you need to replace the board....

Chosen Solution From what you have show us in your snapshots it appears the charger is not being seen at all! We need to walk the pathway from the MAgSage charger plug into the system and then the pathway internally. Review this Apple T/N Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters make sure the cord and the MagSafe connector are in good shape if not you’ll need a new unit. While the charger worked on another system its possible the connection is loose so it sometimes works....

Chosen Solution My friend recently helped me replace a 160GB hard drive for my IPod classic, which we bought from this site. Physically, everything went very smoothly. The IPod turns on, the menu displays, and it connects to my Macbook. Wonderful. However, we’re having a problem with formatting the thing. ITunes recognizes it and gave us the option to format. It claimed their were 0kb left on the IPod, so we tried formatting it....

Im pretty sure its something i did, just wonder if someone could point me in the right direction Chances are you knocked one of the components by the home button connector when removing it, These are extremely hard to replace if you’re not a trained professional....

Chosen Solution got a iphone from customer who changed the battery & also the battery connectors. the is nothing showing. it was on iOS 6.0.1 but i have successfully restored to iOS 7.0.4. when i am activating this iphone by itunes it says the the is problem with this phone contact the apple. could anyone please guide me to the right directions to resolve this issue. The phone is probably damaged when changing the battery connectors....

Chosen Solution My mom opened the dryer while it was running without hitting the pause/cancel button now dryer wont turn on, the lights are flashing & its keeps beeping. I tried holding down both the start & off buttons but beeping still wont turn off & dryer wont turn on. How do I fix this? @hawild unplug the unit from the outlet and let it sit for awhile. Chosen Solution so i replaced the battery, speaker and front camera/proximity sensor and now my phone is acting crazy. It randomly shuts down, no vibration, no sound, no wifi, and cant hear anyone when i call. What did i do?I followed the guides and was as careful as i would be with a clients machine. I work at a computer repair shop so this is kind of embarrassing…. Luckily i knew enough to test it before i put it all back together....

Chosen Solution One day I noticed my battery percentage was at 48%, and had been there despite being charged throughout the night. I restart, 48%. Plugged in, and it quickly discharged to 0% and shut off within 6 minutes. Well, I came to iFixIt and re-calibrated the battery (by charging, letting it die and charging again) but I noticed that while charging the battery remained at 0%. I took it off, and then it died instantly, after the restart the phone had shot back up to 99%....

Chosen Solution This is not a big deal but it is to me….normally when I would want to send a text message via talk feature, I would tap on the microphone, wait for the “ready” beep and then start talking. For some reason that beep has gone away. Anyone know how to get it back? If you don’t know what I mean, click on the message icon and instead of typing your message, click on the microphone and you will hear a beep....
