Theses holes are for the iMac pins not to hold the hard drive to the bracket. I need to get a screw tap to thread them. When you have done this, put the so it is vertical and sitting on it’s little base. Now allow it to warm up for a min it or so. Then try it. I hope it works for you. Perhaps yours is set up for long shots, therefore they come out fast and hard as they have to travel further....

Chosen Solution got it. you should slide the screen part into the back panel and start with the speaker clasp. it will be difficult to then close the top clasp (its super tight) but do it while still gripping the bottom clasp. that’s how you close the phone.

Chosen Solution My HP250 power button won’t turn it on but instead works for forced shutdown or hibernation/sleep purposes only. the only way I’m able to switch on the laptop is to remove all power sources that being the battery or adapter cable then after I would close the lid and place back battery or adapter cable, when I open the lid that’s when the laptop boots into windows. I have also resorted to force shut it down because every time after shutdown it automatically restarts....

Chosen Solution I replaced the batter and buttons on my DS controller but managed to rip both vibration motors wiring off the mother board. I figured no harm I never liked that feature anyway. But now both the triggers don’t work. I’m guessing it’s related. Same circuit? Anyway to fix that ? Update (08/16/2019) I worked it out myself. The rubber inners weren’t seated properly.now they are and now they work properly....

It would be helpful to know what your son did, but the symptoms you described sound like “phantom touches,” which occur when a digitizer goes bad.
