Chosen Solution the plastic outer cd-rom tray cover the part where the eject button is. Is missing. I dropped my HP laptop 15 bs1xx 414vjo32. I put the cover in my back pack now I can’t find it, must fell out out of my back pack the cd-rom works fine can i get a replacement cover . it looks like I took out the rom. not a pretty sight. Chosen Solution Hi every one i’ve got a water damaged huawei p8 lite a followed various guides to repair it ,i teard it down cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol once i reassbled it i’ve put it on a charge cycle and apparently i did charge on full since the led gradually became green later i tried to turn it on but nothing happend except for the green light blinking so even without the charger plugged, so later i decided to turn it off to check if i could do something for the display but every time i try to press the power button for a hard shutdown the led shuts off but after a few it starts againg to blink....

Chosen Solution hey people. i have this phone with several issues. wifi diden’t work, no service, touch dissease and the homebutton dident work most of the time. 1/10 i did work. i,m pretty sure i reballed all the chips fine! wifi, service and touch works 100% now i replaced the home button. but when i press it now, the phone will restart. pretty weird i never experienced this before. should this be the homebutton ic?...

Chosen Solution after tv is on for about a half hour the color seems to change into a metalic type hue white clothes seem to have a gold metalic like shade in them @gtracy06 it sounds like your screen becomes solarized which could be caused by a bad t-con board, a bad mainboard or even a bad panel. Pull up any onscreen menu. If the menu is clear but the picture solarized, it is most likely the mainboard that has failed....

Chosen Solution Another question about this was answered that there was an easy fix. what is it? @pammulvihill ,Pam, Look in the charge port and blow/pick out(carefully) any dust/debri that may be causing an issue also look in the port for any bent pins and straighten very carefully with a tooth pick. Try a different compatible charger/cord to see if that is the issue. If different compatible charger/cord does not fix and port looks/test good, the battery or connection could be bad, if able to clean battery connections and reconnect/install battery, still not charging battery probably faulty....

Chosen Solution So just the other day, my 2020 iMac screen went black, the power completely cut, and and no amount of holding the power button would get it to come back. I ended up having to unplug it from the wall, and then it would boot up again. This blackout happened a few more times that day, I tried shuffling around/removing RAM sticks and running the diagnostics, but nothing came back with issues or solved the problem....

Chosen Solution Control not responding Hi @jlhcc , Try disconnecting the power and the back up battery, then press and hold the manual start / advance button for about 10 seconds to dissipate any residual power in the controller. Reconnect the power again to see if this has reset the controller. I got lucky. Mine just needed resetting. I removed the battery and plug. After about 30 mins, I put the battery back and plugged it back in....

Chosen Solution My asus transformer is about 1 year old and it requires a special way to turn it on. I have to turn it on, where it just gets stuck at the Asus logo without the progress bar appearing, which then makes me turn it off by holding down the power button again. Then finally it will load if i turn it on for the second time. Any way to fix this?...

Chosen Solution Hi my laptop is not switching on the normal way and its also not charging when its off. If you remove the battery and insert the charger it only shows lights on charger, power button, wifi and speaker. These lights just appear for 1 or 2 seconds when inserting charger also when inserting battery. So i managed to figure out how to switch it on when the battery is half inserted....

Chosen Solution I left the PS4 running with a game playing. A person in our household sees it and proceeds to unplug the power cord from the outlet (without exiting anything or turning off the PS4). Now I tried turning on the PS4 but it doesn’t respond, either through the controller or the power button. The power button literally doesn’t do anything; and if the PS4 is plugged in, the controller light blinks twice or thrice then stops as if it has turned on the PS4 already....

Chosen Solution My Bauhn remote has gone stupid. On/off not working so I turn on TV manually but remote still crazy. Source button turns source on but ok or exit do not work. Source can only be cancelled by epg button. I will have a universal remote but can’t find correct codes. Any help will be much appreciated. It seems, the problem appears when I’ve been using my laptop for a very long time (like almost the whole day) and only when I use softwares like Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, or when I’m watching YouTube or streaming videos.
