Hi Ellen, Unfortunately, there are quite a few reasons the touch screen isn’t working. It could be there’s a hardware problem with the digitizer, which would mean replacing the screen, as the LCD and digitizer are fused together on your phone. It could be a software problem as well....
Chosen Solution My Samsung just suddenly stopped being able to charge and is now dead. It doesn’t have anything to do with the battery as i have tried with a new one which didn’t help. Any ideas on what it is or how to fix it? I have a lot of photos of my now very old dog on there that i’d hate to lose. If you still have the replacement battery I would use whatever charge it has to retrieve those pictures....
Chosen Solution Hi, so my Galaxy S9 Plus fell the other day and the back glass broke and since then the phone cannot connect to 2.4Ghz wifii networks, Only 5Ghz. Also it won’t remember any wifi networks that was used before both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. The bluetooth connection is very poor too. Also sometimes, mobile service is very poor where before the phone fell I had 4 bars (full service). I replaced the back glass bot nothing changed....

I can get the battery to charge, and I can tell it has over 20% charge as the LED indicator went from orange to white. Chosen Solution The issue started with the receiver. Suddenly the “On” blue light, “standby” red light, and “recording” orange light all came on and the TV didn’t came back on again. Side note: whenever I connect the black system cable to the TV, the light on the TV goes from blinking red to blue to a STILL red. My guess, perhaps I was using an incorrect power cable, but never had an issue for the first few months....

Chosen Solution I fix phones on the side, so one guy came to me with some speaker issues so i opened up the phone just to check how easy it is to replace before i order something i closed the phone back up and now the touch ID is not working, home button works fine but not the touch id. I reopened phone to check for pinched ribbon cable but everything looks good....

Chosen Solution Followed this guide, which seemed straightforward. Once the replacement battery was in (which I purchased from this website) the battery would not charge. Computer starts up and runs fine with charger plugged in, but as soon as charger is disconnected it shuts off. I then reset the SMC and PRAM, but still nothing. I double-checked the connection from the battery to the I/O board. Anyone have any ideas? Did I get a dud?...

Chosen Solution Bought a used 6s with a cracked screen several years ago. Replaced the screen and powered it up with the screen still separated from the case. Everything seemed to be ok until I closed the case up. The backlight wouldn’t come on after that. I didn’t mess with it for a few months. I took a look at it again, and the battery was discharged. When I plugged in the charge cable the battery indicator came on the display, and would reappear any time I hit the home button....
Chosen Solution 2006 no crank no start. New battery, starter will engage when I put a jumper wire on relay in breaker box to the battery. It cranks then but still won’t start It sounds like the relay is bad. When you put the jumper wire across are you going into the car and turning the key? When did this start happening?
Chosen Solution After installing the SSD and replacing the broken HDD, I reassembled the iMac and was able to boot to internet recovery without a problem. Everything worked fine until I got to disk utility, where no hard drives were listed. They weren’t just unformatted, nothing was listed in the side bar. Also, in the install macOS screen no volumes were available to select for be installation. My guess is the power to the drives isn’t connected correctly, but I figured I’d hop on here and get a second opinion before I go taking the computer apart again....

Chosen Solution Typing does not show on screen until moving the cursor, same with scrolling and opening and closing apps. Runs beautifully in safe mode. Hardware test shows nothing wrong. My first Mac and stumped on what’s wrong. I’ve formatted and reinstaled the latest Mac update. And reset smc and pram or whatever it was that Apple chat support told me to do. Really don’t want to take it to Apple as they are expensive....
