Chosen Solution After turning on TV with remote control, screen flashes briefly then powers down. TV power cord must be removed then plugged back in before making another power-up attempt. After 2 or 3 tries, TV does power up and function as normal. @payolap could be a cold solder connection or a failed capacitor/MOSFET on the power board. We would need to know the exact model number for your TV. Also, remove the back cover from your TV and take a look at all the boards....

Chosen Solution My Dad has a Canon Powershot G11 where the LCD screen would shut off sometimes when the screen was moved. We suspected a damaged LCD hinge flex cable so bought a replacement off ebay, however when he fitted it the screen did not display at all and the lense would not open and close fully when turned on. When I had a look I noticed that he had inserted the flex cable in to the LCD driver board the wrong way around....

Chosen Solution So my friend purchased a pixel 5a for parts on ebay. Screen looked good, No cracks or OLED broken. He sent me his phone to fix and it arrived and I did the swap of the screen. Sadly the screen does not light up but I can hear the phone do things. Chosen Solution i have a older side by side GE. The lower evap coils freeze over. The temps on both sides are about 10 degrees over. I replaced both defrost heaters/with thermostat and the bottom still freezers over and temp still high. I have a mechanical timer, no board. I advance the timer to defrost mode,…and the heaters dont seem to come on at all. I came back and it went into cool mode (not very though)....

Chosen Solution I opened my nexus 5 to make a repair, but the back cover did not close very well. There are a few points where I suppose the plastic clips were damaged and there is a clear separation between the back cover and the phone. Is there some sort of glue I could use to secure the cover better, but still leave it able to be opened again in the future?...

If I’m on a call, i have to wait between 5-10 seconds (which I think is when the top mic kicks in), then person can hear me. Chosen Solution Is the air gap between the magneto and the flywheel correctly set? Take off the starter cover and loosen the two small bolts that fix the magneto to the engine casing. Turn the flywheel so that the magnets are directly opposite the magneto. Slide a business card between the flywheel and the magneto. (The card is roughly the same thickness as the airgap) Tighten the bolts on the magneto replace the starter and spin it over....

Chosen Solution Replac my phone battery with a new one but during the process of removing the battery accidently scratch a small hole on the battery. Little smoke came out and stopped and theres an ordor coming out of the battery. Im I safe to through it at a trash or is there an other way of disposing it??
