Chosen Solution My pc was working fine I swapped my ssd to a different sata and reseated ram After that my pc makes continuous beeping sound with no display I have swapped sata slot to initial position problem still exists Any help would be appreciated @nw23 Are you sure that is is continuous beeps and not a pattern of beeps that is repeating over and over? Here’s a link to the motherboard’s beep error codes from the user manual (on the next page is the Power LED blink error codes - they have the same meaning as the beeps), check if there’s a similarity in the pattern between what you’re hearing (or seeing) and any of the codes listed in the manual....

Chosen Solution Update: I disconnected the earpiece part of Face-ID and run the phone without it everything else works fine now. I would probably try replacing that part to regain speaker functionality. Chosen Solution My screen first started having issues with sometimes not turning on after coming out of sleep, but a restart would fix it. Then I was able to solve the issue by disabling sleep when closing the lid, which worked for a little while, but then it would not go to sleep, but the screen would turn off and wouldn’t return even with a restart. Same thing happens if I shut it down, when I power it back on, the keyboard lights up but not the screen....

Could be a bad hard drive, hard drive cable or ram which are removable parts. Can you hear a chime sound when the Mac turns on? What I recommend is unplugging the drive cable, removing one stick of ram and see if the MacBook stays on....

Of course they may want it returned to them as there is a reason it was locked (usually theft). Chosen Solution Why is the FireWire Bus unable to list FireWire devices? If you have firewire devices connected and they are recognized by your Mac, System Profiler should be able to list the devices. If it does not, I would try logging out and logging back into a different account, and trying System Profiler again. If you get the same result (no devices shown), try zapping PRAM (hold down Command, Option, P and R keys simultaneously when booting the Mac, and keep holding them until you hear 3 or more startup chimes)....
