Chosen Solution My Pixel 3a got wet and the earpiece speaker started buzzing/humming/crackling, but it worked and I could hear through it! Everything else worked fine. I bought a replacement earpiece speaker and gasket from here (iFixit) and replaced/installed it. No particular issues. I reassembled after wiping all contacts, and was happy not to hear the buzzing, then realized all I was hearing was the bottom speaker (music or phone). Everything else works fine, that is: proximity sensor, front camera (nothing blocked) headphones (bluetooth and wired) - so it’s not a signal problem, all screen functions....

Chosen Solution If I replace the motherboard with an official JDM-040 would that fix it? Replacing the motherboard might help with the response times, I would say give it a shot. If that doesn’t work then you might have to purchase an actual DualShock lol.

Chosen Solution Hi, My HP Printer has just started printing images with a yellow tint. The text is fine, but both a photo and a piece of clipart has this additional yellow tint to it (I have also tried a different image from a different piece of software). It was fine yesterday and has just started now (I need to print some birthday invitations). I have selected the correct card stock and turned printer off and on, but still have the same problem....

Chosen Solution My step-dad recently gave me his LG G Watch. He said it’s about 2 years and has been sitting for a while unused, but was working when he stopped using it. It’s been on the charger for at least 2 hours now, but still no charge. Please help You may need to change the battery, see other answers but try a factory reset, while keeping it on the charger press and hold the side button for a minute or so until you see the LG logo then let go, it may then do a reboot....

Chosen Solution I was removing screen assembly i unhooked main ribbon cable and I figured I was free to remove when I noticed this ribbon attached to the touch screen was torn in half. I then took the mother board out and saw two little brass pins that connect with the two pads. I figure it might be for Wi-Fi not sure where I can get it or am i wrong on what it is and what it does....

Chosen Solution Partial cups of coffee. Done the easy and usual: clearing the puncture pins of debris, filter at bottom of reservoir, descaling with vinegar. Now I am convinced it has to be a weak air pump. I’m looking for a way to remove the guts to get access to the air pump. Chosen Solution my galaxy s3 front glass is cracked and chipped, and when i plug in my charger it doesn’t charge, and also the back camera glass is missing joe, sounds like you have your work cut out for you. I’d start with the front display. You can either replace the complete assembly, which I advocate due to less chance of destroying the LCD, or just the glass as is shown with these guides....

Chosen Solution I wonder if you have an opinion about the speaker issue and the XDA mod with the Nexus 5? One of the features you take for granted in a phone is its sound quality. Everybody oohs and aahs about screen size and processor speed, but a seemingly insignificant and overlooked component, such as a speaker, can ruin a device. Do you think a software update can fix this, or should I consider the XDA mod....

Chosen Solution Hi, I very recently bought a 2013 macbook pro retina 15 serial number C02LPBG2FD56. I bought it as faulty with no display backlight. The LCD is working as I checked it with a torch through the Apple logo. I believe it has suffer a small amount of liquid damage as one of the warning indicators is red. One on the other side is still white. I have tested the F9700 fuse with a multimeter and there is no continuity....

Chosen Solution pyle PCAU46A usb/sd everthing working but no sound from speakers. This is a rather simplistic amplifier that has few external safety devices. If everything works except for sound and the speakers are attached correctly, then the internal amplifier protection circuit or fuse has been triggered. Without opening up the unit and checking some of the components, it is impossible to indicate the exact problem. Since these units are less than $60 new, it is not likely worth the repair should you need to bring this to a service provider....

Chosen Solution My Shark is a Rocket True Pet purchased from Walmart in 2015. Great vacuum until today. I vacuumed our hardwood floor of pet hair (maybe 15-20 minutes) and it did well. Chosen Solution When I slide the control to Noise Cancelling, headphone keeps shorting out and goes in and out between total noise cancel and regular sound. Any suggestions? I found out that - as crazy as it may sound - in my case it had something to do with the battery brand I used. I normally use Duracells, but always found them a bit hard to insert into the slot (it was really hard to close the lid with the battery inserted), but never had any issues until recently I bought a new pack....

Keyboard was acting up and not letting me type username/password (delete button was not working and it was really sluggish selected restart will not power on now. I made a Odin flash with the last firmware and previous firmwares but when flashing ends it reboot and it stocks in a boot loop on Galaxy Note 4 logo and the upper left side of the screen shows a blue “recovery booting” and vibrate. Chosen Solution I was wondering if the oneplus one Qualcom chipset could be removed from the motherboard and replaced with another manufacturer chipset. I know that is it likely laminated to the board. Is it still possible to remove the chip? Even with moderate difficultly. Also I was wondering if anyone had the pin outs for the chip? I love the phone but could really use another chipset as I don’t want to run an external wifi via the USB....

Chosen Solution Hi, i’ve posted a few times and im at a loss with the issue, any help is appreciated. So I got a battery from Ifixit a while ago and ever since the power connector is extremely hot, the cable is discoloured yellow from the heat. Also, this happened previously but getting a new charger from the Apple store solved it for a few months until the problem returned. But also my computer just seems to be running really slow, I used to use DAW’s fine but now theres large cpu spikes when recording....

Chosen Solution I have a Panasonic 55” with a Vestel 17MB130s board, the firmware was from a different setup as it went dead before and I used a setup from friend to re-boot it. I was changing things in Vestel toolbox and got back my FreeviewPlay and the recording options witch were not on the new setup I instaled, then I tried to change the remote control code in hardware.bin profile and I did it wrong....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve got a Panasonic TX-P50G10B Plasma which blinks red 3 times when turning on. I tried changing the power board however that didn’t help, and upon further research I found the manual for the TV which said the A (AV) board is the suspect. I changed it with a board from eBay however the problem persisted. I assumed it was a bad board so returned it and bought a new one....

Chosen Solution My PC is almost 4 years, the battery is ok and charger but when time to charge cannot function Try opening device manager, right click uninstall all battery listings that You can, they will be reinstalled after reboot. and before booted into windows remove battery quick like, once windows is booted replace battery… This usually fixes battery issues!…See battery stats if it’s on charge now bottom right if windows,,,
