Chosen Solution I recently dropped my OnePlus 5 and ever since then the phone has no network - no calls, SMS, mobile network. WiFi, BT etc. works fine. Physically, there is only a small dent on the back cover above the volume buttons, and halfway to the middle. When I attempt to manually select a network (SIM settings, Choose a network operator), there are no results, and in About section of phone, SIM status, Signal strength i 0, and Out of Service....

Chosen Solution Hi, I had stick drift that was unbearable recently, nothing could get it to stop so I decided to open up the controller and clean the potentiometers myself. Once I got that done and I even replaced the white thing inside the potentiometer with one from an old PS4 controller, I’m stuck with the right stick always going up. I’m not sure what I did wrong. I definitely didn’t break the green thing that latches onto the joystick since I barely moved it and I cleaned it pretty well....

Chosen Solution my macbook gets way too hot! idle it’s on 60 degrees and when just basic browsing it goes up to 94 degrees celcius and down to 40 and back up, it’s like a rollercoaster note that i use a second screen attached to my macbook. is it a simple fix by just replacing the termal paste? or is it more a hardware or software issue? How about opening the bottom cover and clean out the fans and the heat sink fins using a can of can’ed air and a soft paint brush to start....

You might try wrapping some tape around the plug in order to make it thicker. If it is thicker, it may stay in the socket better than it is now doing, and if it therefore stays in the socket, it may be able to charge....

Chosen Solution Since the new iMac late 2009 has a fan control probe attached directly to the 3.5" drive pins, is there a safe upgrade solution to an SSD without the pins? I have read some people are shorting the 2 pins and if left un-shorted would make the fans run at 100%. actually, there are a few homebrew workarounds. if you take a thermal sensor from an older iMac(or any standard 2-Pin thermal sensor), and connect it to the 2 pins that the thermal sensor in the drive would usually connect to, and place that near the drive, then the fans should run accordingly, since a thermal sensor is nothing more than a diode that lets more or less electricity pass depending on temperature, shorting the cable isn’t recommended because the drive can overheat, and die and the fans will not speed up to cool it down....

Yet, the fan spins but the second diagnostic led does not light nor does the mac boot. Tried clearing SMC but nothing. It appears to be a power supply issue. Chosen Solution Hi everyone , so pretty much my brother ended up dropping my PS4 (3 feet off the floor) ever since then the PS4 would just randomly shut off every time I try to start or sign in into a user . I have done safe mode and pretty much did the option where I just restarted and deleted everything and still nothing worked. Chosen Solution hi frnds…. my hard drive is of 250 gb sata .segate…. the power cable pin of the hard drive is burnt(i think due 2 loose connections)….is any where can i fix it and get it into work…or should i buy new one…please answer me frnds…. If the connections are badly damaged such that cleaning is not possible, then the connector will need to be replaced. Doing that may be a bit tricky without the proper soldering tools, however....

Chosen Solution my LG 50ln5700 screen went black which motherboard did you replaced? there is one specific dedicated for led screen (small motherboard ) generally near the edge of screen on the bottom side, You must check if it has write amount of input voltage and does the Illumination panel behind the led tv is getting proper input voltages. hope checking that will fix your problem. if not than the led panel is culprit

The part number for the line i need would also be helpful. @dccorrado It is a royal PITA to bend your own line and to apply the fittings etc. If you have never done this it will be extremely difficult and cumbersome....
