Chosen Solution Hi, My Mac seems to have developed several personalities. Sometimes boots ok, some of time half boots then white screen, sometimes when turning on get a blue and white vertical striped screen, sometimes half boots then shuts down and restarts. Various issues. Chosen Solution Not Detecting Battery. But it’s working fine only that it show X .Even new battery I’ve tried the SMC reset . No solution and the Charger . the light is light green . You need to replace the battery. If you click on the apple logo on the top left, then click “ABOUT MAC” then Select the “SYSTEM REPORT” you will find a description for power on the left hand side and that will take you to the battery information if there is no information the battery has gone bad or may be disconnected all together from being dropped or some other related type of incident....

Chosen Solution the nut that hold the grinding wheel in place keeps coming loose. how do I fix it? There should be two ’nuts’ one is a locator and the other is the locker. If it is a 100mm grinder you can only use 100mm disks and nothing bigger. Make sure that the locking nut is placed on correctly and when you tighten it down, try to spin the wheel. If you can hand spin it, then you have either the locator or the locker on the wrong way....

Chosen Solution HI there After replacing the hdd on my iMac 27 part of my screen is turned off. Chosen Solution The apple logo will come on and occaisionally blink but the phone wont fully boot. I managed to get it to turn on and I unlocked my phone but it went back to the battery screen that comes on when your phone is dead. I plugged it in and put it in restore mode but I cant backup my files. I don’t mind replacing the phone as long as there’s a way to get the files from it....

If you do have service then check the line between where the phone comes into the house, and the phone base. It sounds like the phone is charged, cause you are getting a searching for service notice....

Bluetooth speaker model number: BT1403s Hi @asha2013 If the speaker is a Tesco BT1403s? then according to what is on the internet (and there’s not much information online about this speaker) then maybe a 5V DC power output adapter should have been used. If it is 5V DC then the speaker will have to be opened and inspected as to what damage would have been caused by applying 12V to the speaker....

Chosen Solution Won’t turn on been charging for 3 hours and it charged my dad’s phone but won’t charge my tablet Robert Taylor check your charging cable and try a different AC adapter. Your tablet may require a higher amperage. If all that checks out then you need to check the charging port, Clean it with a few drops of 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and a few puffs of compressed air. If that does not change anything you may have to disassemble your tablet and check the charging circuitry for obvious damage and change the battery as well....

Chosen Solution Grace Mondo internet radio has developed intermittent function in the top volume control knob. I am guessing the shaft encoder has failed. Twisting the knob will randomly raise and lower the volume, regardless of direction of rotation. Chosen Solution I have a Kobo ereader. I need a Kobo N416 LCD to repair the display. Where might I find this part and have it repaired? Will likely have to find a dead one in eBay and salvage it for parts. That’s what I had to do without my kobo vox that had a broken glass as there were no sources for aftermarket parts. Chosen Solution i removed the built-in monitor of the laptop because its broken. i connected it to an external monitor with VGA cable and im able to use it. after a few months it went BSOD i didnt see the error because it shutted down immediately. i cant see the BIOS eventhough it is connected to an external monitor. what i did is i extracted its HDD then plugged it in into another laptop and it prompted, “there are no boot device available”....

Chosen Solution I got a new screen in the mail for my iPhone 6s, before starting the replacement, I turned my phone off and unplugged the battery connector from the phone itself. After doing the screen replacement I connected all the lcd connectors to were they need to be then I plugged the battery back to the phone. Then I tried turning my phone on but got no response. I plugged it into the charger but no response, I plugged it into iTunes no response....
