Chosen Solution Hi! My phone got waterdamaged so i dried it out and got a new battery from IFixit. Replaced the battery and it would not start. so i took out the logic board and soaked it in Isopropanol for about 30-40 minutes while cleaning out all the ribbon cables etc, Note: No noticable corrosion. Checked the IFixit battery with a multimeter and got the reading. 3.83V dc, keep in mind my multimeter is cheap....

Chosen Solution After putting the top on, the power button doesn’t click. It clicks fine until i clamp all the plastic clips around it in. Screwing it in or anything like that does not help either. Nothing seems to be in the way of the button either Try reseating the ribbon cable that goes to the buttons. Most likely it’s slightly out of position or something.

Chosen Solution Can I replace my screen? It works partially but not where it was stepped on. sure - why not? the lcd is available in many online shops or ebay. Replacing the LCD panel on a Dell laptop is not easy. There’s a whole bunch of screws that have to be removed in order to replace the LCD. Be sure you shop around, because LCD panels for laptops can be expensive, and in some cases, can cost almost as much as the computer itself....
Chosen Solution The charger cable is working, as I have checked on another device, however the TomTom will not charge or even turn on. It looks like battery issues are common on that model. If it is within warranty, they should replace it. Chosen Solution Hello everyone, So my problem is that my UE BOOM2 has to be connected to a charger to work, once disconnected it doesn’t power off completely : The speaker and the lights turn off after 2 or 3 seconds, but i still can see it connected in my phone and the music playing without any sound going out from the speaker and the lights are off. Chosen Solution Hello! So, I’ve removed the old screen, and battery has been unplugged when removing and inserting the new one. The new lcd/digitizer however turns black after about 10-15 seconds, just about when it’s supposed to load the password screen. Tested with the old one again, works fine. I have not soldered on the old sensor as I wanted to test the replacement screen first and I don’t want to void the warranty....
Chosen Solution cleaned with 99%isopl on contacts but new screen wont power at tired other screens but only the old screen will power on show backlight but that’s about it can iget lil help thank you Double check if the connector is in all the way and if the connector is not missing any of its tiny pins using a camera on another phone.

Your system could be corrupted or your hard drive has gone south. Insert you system installation disk and start up holding down the “C” key. Go to the second screen pull down menu to utilities > Disk Utility and select your drive on the left (if it appears) and see if you can repair it....
