Chosen Solution My ruggedized chromebook only displays vertical lines. I’ve had it for about 6 months, no problems until now. I have tried chrome reset, nothing changes. I don’t see where there is a reset button on the chromebook itself. I wonder if this is a hardware or cabling issue and if so, can I do the repair myself?? I found the tear down manual on this site, seems simple enough....
Chosen Solution I recently acquired a 1969 RCA computer crafted component record cabinet. Everything seems to be working fine except the speakers. The aren’t busted in the front. But still make a terrible crackling noise on every channel (PHONE, TUNER, TAPE). Every further inspection there are 2 ceramic fuses inside the speakers but even after removing them they work better but still do nothing but crack. I assume it’s wiring but i’m not sure where....
Chosen Solution I have a GE top load washer model GTW680BSJ5WS. It is not sensing that the lid is closed and therefore will not start. I have replaced the lid lock, unplugged it for an extended period of time, attempted to reset it, and it does not appear that any of the connections are loose. I am completely out of ideas of what is wrong and how to fix it....
Chosen Solution how do I get it to drain, ‘’’++@tmcordova++’’’ F32 (usually preceded by an LD) means long drain so the best thing to check is the drain pump itself and the connections to the drain pump. Remove all the water out manually (as much as possible) then tip the machine backwards so you can get underneath of it. Near the back is the drain pump and it’s connected to the drain hose itself....

Chosen Solution My Nikon D7000 will boot up and take photos just fine. However, the LCD will not display anything. If I click the menu or playback button or anything to turn on the screen, you can see it light up but it is all black/blank. I even tried replacing the entire LCD and got the same problem. Any ideas? Did you turn off the rear display? Review the owners manual on how to turn it back on....
Chosen Solution My vectrex has no image displayed on the screen after replacing two chips in the logic board with the same type. The filament of the tube does not light up. I measured the filament for continuity and it is ok but no voltage on it. It worked before I replaced these chips. Is there any way that the logic board sends commands to light up the filament? I do not think so....

If your Tv is turning on with a green light and does not go to a blinking read light then the power board should be a assumed to be working....

I think there is a switch in the headphone jack correct? but this jack is soldered to the logic board? Anyone any experience with this? Update (04/24/2022) Well machine apart, speakers work fine.. in the OS the Headphone jack responds to SPEAKER being output and then HEADPHONES being output....
Chosen Solution Done engine swap, out of 2000 accord. Am not getting power to starter signal fuse on inside driver side dash. What direction do i need to go ? Checked main fuse? Does battery has a charge? does the ignition key works, lights turn on when you flip it on?
Chosen Solution Hi My MacBook Pro stopped working awhile ago with the question mark at boot. I tried doing a Internet recovery but couldn’t see the PCIe SSD, so I thought the disk was dead, I have bought a new “Aura Pro X” and booted up internet recovery again, but it is still not seeing the disk :-( I then tried attaching a external disk and installed Big Sur on that and it is working without any problem, suddenly I could see my new PCIe SSD in Disk Utilities, so I installed Big Sur on that and finally it was working....

It looks like that connects the front camera and microphone. please help me turn this thing on! The board likely sustained heavy blunt force damage, there is no guarantee any of these are worth salvaging. For starters,. You’re going to need to have a look at this teardown guide you’re going to have to make sure the logic board is not damaged, identify any other damaged parts and once you have the battery and most if not all parts out you can try bending the phone back....
Chosen Solution Playback volume has gone wrong, level 1 is deafening If you go from the DVD player into another piece of equipment, like a stereo tuner or an amplifier, make sure the volume on that second piece of equipment is volume low. Without knowing your setup, it sounds like you might be sending a low signal into something else that is turned all the way up. It’s easy to forget about the amp part of it....
Chosen Solution I replaced my lightning connector as my headphone jack was acting up but now the celluar signal is lower than it should be and I’m not getting 4G? Any help woud be great. Thanks. There’s a signal flex stuck onto the side of the headphone jack. Did you remember to put this onto the replacement? That’s usually the problem.

It could be the actual belt that drives the pump. Or a seized idler pulley. Pumps themselves do not usually makes that noise, unless the bearing in the pump is shot. Lift the bonnet/hood while engine running and in park/neutral with handbrake/park brake on....
