Chosen Solution Working on an OptaVision HDMI-80. When powered on, the unit makes a buzzing noise that seems to come from the speakers. The projector bulb does not light up, but all the fans are running. There appears to be power to the speakers, the fans, and possibly the LCD board, but the bulb is not lighting up. I am wondering if the LCD board is bad. Any suggestions. I can provide pictures of the unit if necessary....
Chosen Solution As described in the title my PS4 controller is dead. The battery is charged, but the LED’s don’t turn on, even with USB cable connected. I already replaced the battery and I also replaced the lower part of the controller (the one with the USB port) with one of a working PS4 controller, which brings me to the conclusion that the main part of the controller (the one with the motherboard on it) must be damaged....
Chosen Solution This all started when foolishly placed a soda cup on top of the console. Left it there for a few days and to my ignorant surprise, the soda leaked through onto the console. Noticed this when the ps4 said “unrecognized disc” instead of the game that was inside. So i tinkered around trying to clean up the the inside where the soda was spilled, everything else works except for being able to play physical copy games....
Chosen Solution As normal, I get the Rebuild database screen. But when I press X, it goes to 0%, stays there for about a second, and restarts. But afterward, the same process continues! I don’t know how to fix this. Please help me!!!! so it sounds like you have a bad hard drive. i would swap in a known good drive into the system to test it out. note that any data on said drive will be gone....
Chosen Solution My iPod Nano was in the bottom of my lunchbox with a few containers and a quite heavy water bottle. There was no water in the lunchbox and the water bottle was sealed very tight. For some reason, there is a purplish tint that started at the bottom corner but then spread to fill half the screen. I might upload a picture so everyone can see the damage. The screen and touchscreen still works and there is no visible damage to the glass but I would like to see if anyone knows what is going on and if it is repairable/replaceable....

Chosen Solution I have tried using the bottom volume button with the power button and the top one too . I have tried all three still not working. Help me?!!! Think it has to do with charging to long. Not hot and I didn’t drop it in water could possibly be a fault with the LCD, if you still hear sounds then that suggests internally it is still working fine.
Chosen Solution When i plug the tablet into the charger there is no response and when i try powering up i get a quick flash and vibration alhough it doesnt boot up, i have tried holding the volume+ and pressing the power button for different lengths of time and still nothing, the product is a little over a year old, it is a ’lenovo tablet pc ideatab A2109A-F’ model:2290, any help would be great thanks....
Chosen Solution I’m trying to repair my childrens Hyper X cloud flight headset where the usb-port is broken. But i’m unsure what to search for to get the correct replacement usb-port to solder on. @tommyka get some calipers and take some measurements on the current port. Then with those measurements check places like this and compare the dimensions. It’ll take a little bit of time but should most certainly get you the right connector....

Chosen Solution Hi, I recently bought a new power supply for my ps3 slim off ebay because the old one stopped working. I have taken the ps3 apart and taken the old one out but the new one doesn’t fit flush into the ps3. I have attached both cords that plug into it and got power which is good but I believe the problem is that two metal rods that are supposed to slide into the power supply from underneath are not lining up properly with the slots there are for them....
Chosen Solution so when I turn on my tv, the logo turns on and off quickly and the screen remains black. If I put a flashlight to the screen I can see the shapes/ menus etc. i have tried my hardest trying to find the answer to what is broken. from my understanding the backlight isn’t working. the tv is JVC EM39FT model when i took off the back panel, there are only 2 boards....

Chosen Solution When I press the container down in the base it connects but then nothing happens I have tried changing the fuse but not joy @carla21 check the activators to make sure they are working properly. If so then you want to check if the motor gets power with the activators engaged.

It could boot into safe mode so i did. But when in safe mode it couldn’t do any of the given options. What most of the time means it’s a hdd issue. So i changed the hdd, put a new firmware in it....

Chosen Solution My 3ds is not loading all of my games completely. Usually about 5 of them load then all of the rest pop up on my screen. But every time I turn on my 3ds, 5 of them load and no other games load. I can’t even turn it off at this point, I have to hold the power button. Trying to select a game or even look at my friends list freezes the screen....
