Chosen Solution So my controller was completely fine one day until something very strange started happening. I could not move around the home screen so my xbox is pretty much inaccessible. But when I turn it into magnifier mode i can do everything completely fine so i used this opportunity to go into the controller test mode. When i’m magnified every button works apart from LT and RT, but when i zoom our to the normal screen, the test mode shows that RT is being spammed constantly (while i’m not pressing it)....

Chosen Solution Was running windows vista, got a red x on the speaker icon on the taskbar. Wipe out my hard drive, then update to window 10, still get that no audio output device is installed. I also reinstall the Realtek HD audio driver back, and still got no sound and game controller in my device manager. I am wondering if the HD audio driver is not compatible (sounds like you don’t have the correct driver)?...

Chosen Solution Please help when I have a call coming in I can’t hear it it vibrates and says who is calling but doesn’t ring I have to ask but did you try to turn up the ringer? Have you tested the speaker to see if it works. Even if the speaker works it won’t make noise if the ringer is turned down and on vibrate only.

Chosen Solution I opened it up and a small chip looks burnt and maybe 2 legs missing. It’s next to the x20 chip and it looks like a spider a little bit. How hard is this to replace? Does this chip have to be soldered? It’s model is cub-1116B. ALL chips have to be soldered, but it is not uncommon for a manufacturer to cut legs off a chip during the manufacturing process … do you see any signs of it burning out?...

After a power outage it started making a buzzing sound and then the cursor started displaying 8 rows of dots . It won’t boot unless I’m in safe mode . How can I fix it ? Chosen Solution Following your excellent video to the letter, and being used to working with electronic domestic appliance repairs, I found after calibration the Mac shows the grey ‘?’ file. Apple Support advice did not fix the problem. It seems I cannot reinstall from Time Machine as there is NO OS X Big Sur to reinstall. Various fixes just could not find it, or the link I needed was greyed out....

Chosen Solution Phone was frozen and after hard reset was given choice of operating system download and phone has now frozen on that screen Sounds like phone is in download mode, to get out of that mode you can hold power + volume down + home for about 10 seconds.

Chosen Solution After taking my console apart for cleaning (no issues prior, was just very dirty & getting quite warm), when I reassembled the disc drive it wouldn’t take a disc. If I fed a disc in with the manual eject screw it gave an unrecognised disc error. So I took it apart again & gave the disc drive a thorough clean (not the lithium grease on the motor rail though), and checked all of the gears, sliders, arms, rollers & connecting piece....

Chosen Solution iPhone 4s got “zapped”, or over electricuted on a faulty docking-type stereo in a power surge. Computer doesn’t read it, nor does it charge or even turn on. However, when connected to charger, it makes a quiet ticking noise. I took the battery out, connected the charger, & it still makes the same ticking sound. Could the problem be, it just needs a new battery? Pia Zamora, very, very unlikely....
