Chosen Solution Hi, my newly installed display has white and black lines running down it and is unresponsive to touch. I tried disconnecting the cables and re-seating them multiple times but it’s still the same. I tried to hold down the power and home buttons to reset it, but it would not reset (home button not working?). Could it be possible the new screen is defective? My screen needed replaced because of a drop, so could it be likely that there is a problem with something else in the phone?...

It started when I was playing a game for about 3-4 hours and put it on sleep mode like a doofus and, lo and behold, it caused an orange screen. Chosen Solution Hello. I am working on an iPad 7 (2019) that came in for no display. Customer said the screen flashed green and then afterwards only the backlight was visible on the display. No image. The iPad is booting, as you can hear notification sounds and Siri. I started by simply disassembling the iPad, disconnect the LCD flex cable, clean the connector, and reconnect. Same behavior. Backlight works, no image....

Chosen Solution So I’ve been repairing a Mac Pro 1,1. Serial No.: YM75101H0GP So I originally got it with no video card or HDD, so I bought a EVGA GTX 680 SC Signature and put it in Mac Pro. Chosen Solution Galaxy S9 Plus, when I replace the battery with a new one the phone strats as normal upon powering it up but once it gets to where the home screen is supposed to be its black. nothing functions except the power button if held for a few seconds where the shut down or restart icons appear towhich nothing happens when turning off or restarting. Chosen Solution I know It’d be better a solution to go to an iPhone repair shop with that. Before I go I’d like to ask and hear if anyone having the same issue as I do. Chosen Solution My phone just switched off in the middle of a call and won’t switch on now. When I try and switch it on, I just see the Google logo and then it turns off again. How do I switch it on again? I’m having the same issue…from what I have read I gather that it is a faulty power button all together. Also my further reading leads me to believe that you either need to replace to motherboard or do some serious soldering in order to fix it....

Chosen Solution I easily replaced the battery, but found when I powered up that the screen was very dark and the solors are not quite right. I redid the work and installed a second battery with the same reults.Otherwise the phone works fine and holds a charge. It is impossible to see pictures clearly and the colors are distorted. Suggestions? John Getting a bit ahead of yourself there donley. Jess this just sounds like you have damaged the lcd when removing or reattaching Make sure all connections are seeded 100% if they are them you most likly just need a new screen...

Chosen Solution My system usually goes off after a while because it was overheating and we increase the fan which made it make so much noise. Then the screen started going off and will come up when i connect it to an external monitor. But recently when i put it on. Chosen Solution Used bootable USB drive to start (Was running Mojave 10.14.6). Also had external drive with backup of old internal drive. Disk utility only recognized the external drives. Did the Command-Option-R boot and got the Internet Recovery system which ran for a while but no change. Make sure new drive is securely seated into the drive port and secured with proper screw. When you boot from external and open Disk Utility, go into the upper left “view” button and click “show all devices”....

Chosen Solution Hello I was watching a movie on my macbook. and i noticed that the backlight on my screen was a bit weird, it was like on the bottom half off my backlight was missing /like every other LED was not working. but i did not think anymore about it and aprox 5-10 mins later suddenly there was a light/flash from left bottom corner off my screen. and there was smoke :( i shut down the mac quickly and opened it up and cleaned it a bit....
