Chosen Solution iam unable to switch on the phone as the display has gone. If there is no display at all, and the phone appears “dead”, then the issue may be electrical in origin. You could try taking out the battery and letting it cool for an hour before putting it back in and trying again. If this doesn’t work, the phone may need a new battery.

I know this question has been asked before, but I couldn’t find any threads where the connector looks like mine. So my question is: can I fix it? If so how? Hi Johannes, You need to re-solder the connector to the board. It looks like that the bottom left pin actually ripped the pad off as well, so you need to scrape the green solder mask to reveal copper and then solder the pin back....

Chosen Solution recently my sister droped her 2dsxl that she got for christmas when it was open and now it only flashes the blue light then turns off i decided to see what happens when i disconnect the speakers but then insted of the pop the bottom screen flashed white. Sounds like she knocked a ribbon cable out of place. You’ll have to open it up and reseat them
Chosen Solution Last night I spilled Coke on half of my chromebook. I immediately cleaned it up as best I could and held it upside down for 30 minutes. I turned it on and everything worked fine and I used it for 2 more hours. In the morning I turned it on and everything still worked fine. Some of the key were sticky and the trackpad still worked. I tryed to fix the keys by wiping a damp paper towel with soap on it because thats what my sis told me to do and the trackpad stopped working....

Chosen Solution Replaced screen and battery since it was open. After installing the new battery, Surface Pro 3 says no battery installed. If your computer is not detecting the new battery, try taking it back out. Make sure all the contacts on the battery are clean, as well as all the contacts on the inside of the computer. Put the battery back in, and make sure that it is in securely....
Chosen Solution Did you check your energy savings settings? Often I find after I do a SMC reset or replace a battery the settings need to be reset. Sounds like U8900 is failing on your main board from crappy factory soldering. Take it to someone who does board repair to confirm the issue.

This motherboard has already been repaired by somebody before. I checked every component and LCD / BKLT line and found missing LCD_PWR_EN and LCD_BKLT_EN. When i inject 3,4V to LCD_BKLT_EN, lcd backlight work but here is no image. I tried reball U9100 but same problem. LCD_PWR_EN resistance -> 0....
Chosen Solution Hi, I have none of the four led lights showing up to indicate what may be the problem? I thought it may have been a faulty power inlet plug, but that seems fine. I have checked the logic board with no apparent sign of burnt components I have removed and connected all cable connectors in the unit and have swapped ram and still no luck. Chosen Solution Tried 4 different charging ports that get no signal. Phone is originally AT&T. Tried 1 T-Mobile, 2 AT&T, and 1 Verizon port. All I get is a full stop circle with line for signal . Original port works flawless(from a signal standpoint at least). Also tried network settings reset with no luck. Connected to wifi for any external communication it may need with a new port. Also tried another SIM card with the same replacement port working/not working....
