Chosen Solution I was using a car inverter to charge my MacBook which I installed a new battery on successfully awhile ago and now something happened because the car inverter is indicating a power error and won’t work and my MacBook battery won’t work either now. Do you think the inverter fried the battery on my Mac? It was a 100watt ampeak inverter and it should be able to power my MacBook just fine....

Chosen Solution Today i was just using the computer and shut it down proper. Soon i had something to do..when i try to use it,there is no led light. And when i try to charge it, there is no light too I have not encountered this but Google reveals it is common. Remove the battery remove the charging cord. Let the computer sit for a while, go have a coffee. Now before putting the battery back in, hold the start button down with out releasing for a minute....

Chosen Solution When I open Internet Explorer, I get a pop up to fix the problem. After fixing it does open. Tells me there was a cable not properly connected. I don’t have a cable. It is wireless laptop. I suggest google chrome. https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/de… It looks better and runs better than internet explorer. And it doesn’t have those stupid errors.

You’d have to take the pack apart and check the cells. Now here is the downside. Some of those packs have an IC that prevents the battery from charging if their charge cycle count to high etc....
Chosen Solution HELP! Just did the full battery replacement sequence and got 2 start up chimes when i plugged it in and then nothing. I took the back off again and had a really good look to make sure everything was plugged in properly . Still nothing. Put back together and let it charge for a while. Still nothing . It’s warm to touch at the center rear, but the battery area isn’t warm....

Chosen Solution Hi, For a few times now, I’ve had part of the backlight of my ultrawide LG 34UC98G go off, which turns part of the screen darker, in two places. I’ve tried to open the display to try and check what might be wrong, but so far I haven’t even been able to remove the back of the screen. There’s almost nothing visible that would hold everything together, so I’m assuming they are somehow located farther from the border of the screen....
Chosen Solution My GT-I9060I DS is unable to boot up completely and just hangs on the Samsung screen with a red exclamation mark in the top left hand corner. Also I am unable to boot it up into recover mode, it also hangs on the same screen mentioned above. Remove the back cover off your set and take a look at all the boards. Check to make sure that all cables are properly inserted. Check your boards for any obvious damage like domed or leaking capacitors. Then you need a multimeter and check the fuses on the power board as well as the one of the T-con board, for continuity....

Chosen Solution Takes off just fine and after a few minutes from drops to 0 engine still running. Sometimes it will completely die. Usually starts right up again. But I don’t if the fact that motor is at optimum temperature has anything to do with the effect of it but that’s when it does happen. And going down the road or taking off at 40 mph it acts like it’s slipping and won’t shift out of gear and the same thing again at 55 to 60 mph....

The sizing refers to the diameter of the centre pin connector (2.1mm or 2.5mm) and the overall diameter of the plug and socket (5.5mm). It is very hard to visually spot the 0.4mm difference when just looking at centre pin connector of the plug or socket....

Update (03/26/2017) Hi Jeff Lee If your battery is low do not try to charge it out of the laptop as doing it this way will bypass the battery management circuitry (and protections)....
