I dropped my iPhone last week and, as a result, the home button has been oversensitive. So sensitive, that even when I am outside, the wind causing the whole screen to glitch and think that I am going in between apps and exiting out of apps even when I am not touching the screen. When I am indoors, the home button just stops working completely and I am forced to use assisted touch. I am wondering if there is a way to completely disable the home button so I can just use the assisted touch? Is there any other way to recalibrate the home button? Any help would be amazing.
There is no option to calibrate the home key and they are not changeable. If the home key has a crack it will all cause rapid fire. You can disconnect the home key if you open the screen up and disconnect it. There also is an IC called turtle on the home key that could be causing it also Some motherboard Repairers can repair this for you. Cheers
