Chosen Solution
Hello everyone, I use Outlook mac as a daily soap email client to manage my mails and contacts. A Couple of days back, a few of my required mails went missing and I looked them up in the search option. I could see them after searchning them but could not open them. Taking some technical advice I opted to perform Outlook mac rebuild operation. But this operation failed every time I operated it, outlook crashed everytime. Can anyone suggest the solution??
Generally we don’t do software problems. This is a volunteer DIY hardware help forum. There are many variables left out of your Question - What MacBookPro (there’s a lot of those), What OS there’s a lot of those too, What version of Outlook (again a lot of possible versions). You’re certain you have enough storage space? (disk not full) If the app will launch Go off-line (disconnect Ethernet or airport.)Export any recent messagesQuit the app.Often when applications behave poorly in OS X a first step is to delete the User/Library/Preferences .plist file(s). I would put your MS .pllst files in the trash (where the OS can’t access them) and attempt a “verify database integrity” which should allow a rebuild if needed. If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it accepted.
