the plastic outer cd-rom tray cover the part where the eject button is. Is missing. I dropped my HP laptop 15 bs1xx 414vjo32. I put the cover in my back pack now I can’t find it, must fell out out of my back pack the cd-rom works fine can i get a replacement cover . it looks like I took out the rom. not a pretty sight.
Hi, Do you mean the bezel for the CD drive? Here’s the maintenance and service guide for a HP 15 bs100 laptop that may help. Go to p.36 Item #2 in the service guide to find the part numbers for all the various coloured optical drive bezels that are available for the laptop. Also following on from the part number, the guide shows the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the optical drive and the bezel etc. Search online using the part number only, for the bezel that is appropriate to the colour of your laptop, to find suppliers that suit you best.
