I have an xserve 2006 (emc2107) running MacOSX 10.7.2 Lion Server. I read that it can be upgraded to 10.7.5. I burned a copy of 10.7.5 client upgrade and 10.7.5 server upgrade. Here is the good part, I mislabled the disks. So I used 10.7.5 client upgrade on the xserve running 10.7.2 Server. Is there a way to recover my server os? I hope that just installing the 10.7.5 Server upgrade will work but I don’t wanna make things worse. Basically if anyone can give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Does anything show up in the software update app? Do you still have server.app? If so, try just opening it. Starting with OS X 10.7, there is not really a “Server OS”, the server software is simply added to the normal Lion OS, so you should be fine. Also, in “About this mac”, what is listed as the software?
