Ordered G5 battery port specific to phone. Phone give message: “the module you’ve attached doesn’t work with this phone or isn’t inserted correctly. Please use a Verizon-compatible module…”
Where did you order from? These things are easily mixed up. I suggest speaking with the seller to get a return or exchange.
I bought a charging port from a different supplier, installed it and got this message. Put the original back it - works. Update (07/07/2020) It was most definitely a bad part, FYI! Problem solved with a charging port bought from a different supplier.
I had tried 2 different ones from same supplier and had same issue. They must’ve had a bad batch.
A good reminder to think about the parts you’re using, it could always be that!
