Chosen Solution
Hey iFixit Team, I recently ordered a new battery from iFixit. I replaced it in my Macbook Pro and power cycled a few times, and things worked as expected for a few days. After about three days, the battery worked fine above 50%, but once it got near 40%, it would show as a red battery icon and though I haven’t watched it happen, it seems to jump from ~40% to under 10% near instantly. Does my battery have damaged cells? Thanks Battery snapshot:
I don’t see anything amiss here, Did you follow the procedure to calibrate your battery?
