I have a similar problem as well. I haven’t played my dsi since 2013, so I wanted to play it again. I turned it on and nothing happened. I charged it and the orange light turned on so I thought I can still use it but then it didn’t turn on
mynintendoperson by know that battery will have been so deep discharged that it is below the charging threshold. For the first step you want to replace the battery with a new one. then re-evaluate . Nintendo DSi Battery Replacement
