Hi. I have a broken iPhone 6+, with front speaker not working, as well as mini-jack port. It !#^&@@ me of and i hit my desk several times with it. Now the case is bent quite badly as well. I went to the service with it before the mass destruction and the repair cost was horrific, right now it make even less sence to do it. I’m wondering if it makes sence to buy broken 6+ on the internets and simply swap the logic board and the screen. Would it work afterwards, or the parts are registered to the serial number anyhow. The phone is fully working, with the screen and stuff, but the case is a mess and there’s no option to call anybody besides the conference speaker mode.

The only paired parts are the logic board and the home button, if these two are intact, the reassembled phone will be 100% functional. If the home button is damaged, replacement buttons will not have Touch ID and reachability but everything else should be OK. That being said, the damage is already extensive, the bending and multiple impacts may have destroyed the logic board already. You can post a picture of the phone so we can see how bad it is now.
