kenmore coldspot 106.51132210 does not make ice and does not run the ice despenser. What should I check or replace? I replaced the inlet valve but that didnt fix the issue. Verified that the ice maker is on.
Hi @adcran, Here’s the tech sheet for the refrigerator. Try running the diagnostics pertaining to the ice maker/dispenser functions and check for the results. Hopefully this is of some help.
Might be broken wires that run under & inside the door. Mine has this problem. Every time you open & close the door, the wires flex, eventually breaking. Internal diagnostics don’t detect this problem. You can check voltage across the main power wires (black & white) going into ice maker. I have 0 volts at ice maker and 120 VAC at the wire harness terminal under the kick plate. Wires broke off flush with the bottom of the door. Haven’t fixed it yet.
