My macbook pro 13inch touch bar won’t turn on, iv tried all the combinations for smc reset and nothing, I will have a power meter tomorow so what should I be seeing got a normal charge Is there a guide to what problems I can diagnose once I know how much power I’m drawing from my charger ?

There’s no fixed amperage, it all depends first if the battery takes charge or not and then how much residual charge is left in the battery, the higher the charge the lower the amperage until battery is full when it stops drawing power at all. And no, there’s no such thing as a guide that tells what might be wrong based on amperage drawn as it doesn’t make much sense. Furthermore, the Mac can get power yet not start for any other given reason. Troubleshooting a computer that doesn’t power on isn’t taught anywhere, it needs the ability to read schematics, lots of experience in understanding components, how to test them and again experience on that specific model of PC. All things that don’t take days, weeks or months to learn.
