Hello, I have a problem with samsung galaxy s6 , I fell into the water and now will not turn on . It dried up, cleaned with alcohol . When I connect the charger is very heats the chip . Is the possibility to fix it. In Poland it’s impossible to buy a motherboard. Please help me.
that chip can be purchased on alibaba or possibly ebay uk. Used motherboard could be purchased from ebay overseas. However the soldering is very tricky (watch youtube deep fix s6) done with hot air gun. But could be doable. That said, even if the chip is hot, it is not a common one to fail. It could be a short next to it making it seem hot. the power ic under the metal thin strips in your picture, or shorted/corroded battery connector seems much more common
