Chosen Solution

Good afternoon, Had an unfortunate run in between my iRoomba, the tile floor, and my dog who couldn’t hold in her bowels. Post-event, I attempted to clean the bot manually with water and dilute cleaning solution. The unit (650) now does not seem to be able to turn on/charge. Can you please advise on how I can troubleshoot to find the problem? Thank you for your time.

@brettvet hope your dog is okay. Anyhow, you do need to disassemble your Roomba further and clean everything with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Besides cleaning things, it will also displace the water. Since you are dealing with electronics and a battery, try not to use to much water other than on the plastic parts maybe. Anyhow, start with these guides iRobot Roomba 650 Repair to work on it. After it is cleaned you most likely want to get a new battery and then re-evaluate your Roomba.
