I don’t know about your case but I have a different problem with my amazon android tablet, one day I left the charger lying around and my little sister messed around with it(mostly my fault since I left it lying around) and then the next time it had to charge I realized it would only work if it was put in a certain position and if I accidentally touched it a tiny bit it would stop and it was really hard to put it in that specific position again. But now it is worse! It doesn’t charge anymore at all!!! If anyone has experienced this problem and knows how it can be fixed please let me know! Thank you!

layla deder, that just means that you either totally lost contact between the USB port and the PCB or that the internal connections of the port have failed. You will have to disassemble your Kindle. Follow this guide. You should check the solder connection on the micro USB port. It is very likely that they have either come totally of the board, or that they have micro cracks. It might be possible to reuse the old connector and resolder it, or you may have to find a new connector. None of this is uncommon for the Kindle.
