hello i have replaced the charging port on my ipad mini 3, on inspection the port was faulty 2 pins touching, the port has been re-replaced but it wont charge, i can see a few darkened caps around the pm ic but they check out ok. please help
try a second port before moving onto possible board failures.
If its not the charging port, try using a new charger. If that doesnt work, you may need a new battery.
Tristan chip may be the issue, can be microsolder
