Tablet SX-PD975A came with a digital microscope. It is non-responsive to touch when plugged into microscope but not when attached to laptop. Touching specific icon should activate but nothing happens.
Hi What is the make and model number of the tablet? Most likely the microscope needs to be connected to the tablet via a suitable OTG cable (On The Go) so that the microscope can receive power from the tablet, to operate. The OTG cable needs to have the correct USB plug at one end that matches the tablet’s USB port e.g. micro USB or standard USB type USB power is normally provided all the time from USB ports in a laptop or desktop computer but not from a tablet (at least not an Android OS tablet). The OTG cable is wired so that when it is plugged into the tablet the tablet will provide power on the USB port for the device connect to the tablet so that it can operate if it hasn’t got its own power supply e.g. USB flashdrives, microscopes? Here’s an image that shows the wiring difference between a standard USB cable and an OTG USB cable. You can see the wiring change that is used to signal the OS in the tablet
