Hey guys! A few weeks ago I bought a couple of jacked up iPhone XR’s that needed chassis replacements and new screens. One of them went fine and dandy, looked great! The other XR hasn’t been so nice to me… The phone will power on, and I’ve even managed to do a recovery and update but sadly the screen will not turn on at all. The board was bent somewhat in it’s frame when I removed it and while I can’t see anything broken clearly something is wrong. I attempted a brief stint in the oven like I saw on a few forums but the situation is still just as it has been. I’m sure that it’s not the screen as I’ve tried two screens that work perfectly on another device. Any idea where to go from here? I’m not afraid of sending the phone off to someone with a higher skill set, I just haven’t been able to find anywhere describing my issue. Thanks in advance for any help!
I would recommend sending it to either jessa at ipad rehab ipadrehab.com or Jason at sts telecom ststelecom.com both are excellent at board repair. And you can even watch them on YouTube.
