Chosen Solution
I just fitted new Ifixit battery following the very lengthy Ifix procedure. On power up I hear the Mac opening chord and fans are turning but no video. I have checked and rechecked all connections and with magnification but can see no damage with the video or i/o connectors or logic board. I was ham fisted on the right hand speaker connection but cannot believe this would have any effect on video. Any ideas please?
Do you know if any other parts of the computer work? The logic board may be fried, on the side of your computer, there is a small button press that and tell us if there is a green light that shows. If not your logic board is fried and needs to be replaced.
