Second phone to do this? What am i doing wrong? new lcd works fine, digi is connected to lcd, etc. just no touch. last one i repaired, same thing happened. help?
assuming the component is functional, and not bad. (dont buy from ebay and such) the following issues can cause the problem you are experiencing Wrong revision of parts. (Some phones will use different revisions. the smasung most notorious for this is the Ace 2X) Damage to the FPC -usually cause by removing the connectors on an angle -replacing is a microsolder job. -Ususally noted by damaged, bent, or missing pins. Short on the motherboard or digi -Use thermal tape to cover any exposed components Board damage or failure. -replacing the logic board costs much more money than replacing the device.
