My samsung plasma 8000 65" tv no.longer works. No standby light no power. I was having issue weeks prior with the tv randomly shutting off but eventually i could get it back on. This time no light no nothing. I could use some help. Thanks
@jcote it is likely you are having an issue with the power board. First unplug everything from the back of your TV. Disconnect everything that is plugged into it. Then unplug the TV. Now hold the power button depressed for about a minute or two. Then plug the TV back in and see if it Comes on. Of course, check the outlet to make sure it has power as well. If that does not yield any results, you will have to unplug the TV again and remove the back of the set. Then check the power board for any blown fuses or other components.
