My Samsung has no standby light and won’t turn on. Held the power button for 30 seconds with the tv unplugged and plugged in, changed the power supply board, and it still won’t turn on or show a standby light. Any thoughts?

Hi @cslye , What is the model number of the TV? No standby light is indicative of a power problem, either with the power board or possibly the mainboard. Was there a storm or outage before the TV had this problem? If there was no storm etc and if the TV is still under warranty, go down the warranty path first to get it fixed. If it is no longer under warranty, you will have to disconnect the power from the TV and then remove the back from the TV and inspect the power board (and the other boards) for any obvious electrical damage, e.g. blown fuses, blown or swollen capacitors, heat stressed components etc. If you have a DMM and know how to use it measure the voltages (if any) being supplied by the power board. The voltages values are usually printed on the board. Be aware that there is potentially lethal voltages on the power board so if you don’t know what you’re doing then don’t If you see something and are not quite sure, take some close up pictures and post back here. Here’s how to do this. Adding images to an existing question
