Why don’t I get any sound when I get a text
Hi, If it is only SMS messages where there are no notification sounds and you are using the default Message app, then go to Home > Messages > tap right hand key below screen to bring up options menu, select Settings > Notifications. Ensure that Mute is Off and that you have selected the sound of your choice in Sound in lieu of none if none is selected.
Yes going to my message settings worked for me ,, finally i can hear my messagessss :) lol
I have the same problem but the sound is on and volume all the way up. The only thing off is vibrate with notification. I turn that off to save battery. Especially now since 5 days ago my phone got hot and now the battery drains fastt all of a sudden. Grrr. . But the sound when I get a text, has been an issue for months…
