No audio sound while playing a video captured using the phone camera, a muffling sound comes ! Microphone is perfectly fine as all other things are working well regarding nicrophone, i even tried shooting through whatsapp camera app and snapchat app but same results !
Try a factory reset, it sounds like a software problem. If that doesn’t fix it go to google, they might be able to help. If not get a iPhone
Google Pixel has three different microphones. The main one located next to the USB-C charging port is used for making calls and voice commands. The “camcorder mic” is independant, so perhaps it is malfunctioning (Google is replacing phones because of this, is a known factory issue). Did you try sending the video to another device and watch it there? Is the video without audio or your device fails to play the audio of that video in particular?
This is a known issue with a weak solder joint on the Audio codec chip. A reflow of the chip will usually work, sometimes a reball maybe needed. Google are aware of this issue and were offering replacements last year to those effected. If you need more info let us know.
