Had this thing for less than a year and the left speaker already went out. How can I trouble shoot it? What is this screw holding it in place so I can take it apart? Thanks.
the screw is a Torx screw and may be the security type if that is a pin in the center. Typically, wireless headphones have all the electronics on the right side with the controls. The only thing on the left side is the speaker wired to the right side. Speakers are very reliable, so I would first suspect wiring, then speaker, then electronics. If you open up the right side, you can disconnect one left side speaker wire and test the wiring and speaker using a battery click test or ohmmeter. If that fails you need to open the left side. If not it is the electronics. If you open the left side first you can only test the speaker.
