Hi! Internal speakers on this MacBook seem to be detected in system preferences (the button is not greyed out) however there is no sound output whatsoever in either left or right speaker. The microphone and headphone port work fine. I’ve tried the following things: PRAM reset SMC reset Restarting coreaudiod in terminal Cleaning headphone port Should I buy replacement speakers? Or could this be a board level issue?

Sounds like your jack has failed! As you can see there are a few switch elements inside one or both have messed up
