I’m working on a Samsung UN 55J6201AF LED TV which has no picture, sound, or back light. It basically does nothing. There are no visible shorts or breaks in any circuit boards or connectors. My first thought was a bad power supply, but the led status lights on the t-con board and the red status light on the tv control button work when it’s plugged in. The tv does not pass the flashlight test, could it be a bad panel or bad led lights? I’d figure I’d ask before purchasing a new power board. The screen does not light up at all. I have attempted a hard reset of the tv. I have a circuit tester so I can do any testing you might recommend. Here are some pictures of the device.
Do some measurements around the connectors that go from the PSU board to the main board, and to the LED strips. The reference voltages are indicated on the panel.
