I recently replaced the screen on an iphone 6, and now I’m having problems with audio. The sound on the earpiece works so I can make outgoing calls with no problem but there is no sound on the speakers ,or through the jack, and it doesn’t vibrate. I tried a firmware reset but that didn’t help, so I’m guessing I did something to the hardware when I replaced the screen. Any suggestions?
Might have ripped the charging port, check it for any tears. The loud speaker and headphone jack are connected to the port. Hopefully you removed the battery when you did the screen (so you dont blow up the backlight filter), in the process you could have damaged the port
I would recommend factory resting the phone or see if it needs an update.
