i building a computer went to boot it and there’s no signal going to my monitor but when i pull on the card while booting all of the sudden I get signal. checked: ram power cables native on board display im super confused why pulling on it while it boots fixes it as once its boots it fine. any help is great.

@snebler … sounds like there may be a pin/socket issue with the board in place and the “pull” is allowing it to clear a short pin issue or allowing it to make contact while its booting through post. I would remove the board, check the pins and the socket first. wouldnt hurt to clean it with isopropyl while its out. if nothing is found here, then i would verify you have image and no problem booting while the card is out and using onboard graphics. once this is confirmed, you can disable the onboard chip via bios, plug in the card and see if it boots. if so, great. if not, plug the card back in and see if bios recognizes the peripheral device. if not, then it could just be a failing board. if it does, then it could be a driver issue not allowing it to boot.
