Yesterday when trying to turn on my computer (I was receiving no signal. Just by messing around with stuff and turning stuff on and off, I fixed it. Today though I’ve been receiving no signal and nothing I try can fix it. It’s my only computer and it’s extremely annoying. Things I’ve tried: Turning stuff on and off again, ( for about half an hour) ,switching cables, switching inputs. HDMI and Displayport. Everything did work, not sure what changed. All my peripherals and PC ( Alienware r10 prebuilt with rx 6800 xt Also tried another monitor Sorry for the bad formatting, my writing this on mobile Also my monitor osd says 0 x 0 resolution, 0hz refresh rate
Hi @signslonmoniotr , What is the colour of the Power LED and is it flashing, when you first turn on the PC? If it is amber, it means that the PC is not passing POST (power on self test). Count the number of flashes. Here’s an image of what the flashes mean.
(click on image to enlarge). If it is on and steady then if you think that it is booting into the OS, you may have to first try inserting a different GPU card to see if that is the problem. Can you get into BIOS with a display showing (press F2 on startup)?
