Hello, today I enabled safe boot from the bios and switched to uefi because I want to update to windows 11. After I saved the changes my pc doesn’t display on the monitor anymore . I can’t even access to the bios. It is running though because all the lights and the fans are on. Please maybe you can help me ? Do I need to buy a new motherboard? I just enabled safe boot… CPU: ryzen 5800x GPU: aorus 1080 ti RAM: ballistics 3600hz Mobo: msi b450a pro max
Hi @jubalia96 There are two options that you can use to reset the BIOS back to factory default settings. a) Use the JBAT1 Clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard - see p.36 of the user manual b) Disconnect the power to the PC and then remove the coin cell battery from the motherboard, press and hold the PC power on button for a full 30 seconds and then release it, reinsert the coin cell battery, reconnect the power to the PC and turn on the PC.
